S&S SuperstockT crankcases; made from 356-T6 aluminum; are much stronger than the OEM case. OEM cases can/may break in high performance or even stock applications; like more than a few of us found out the hard way. These S&S SuperstockT cases can be used for both stock replacement and racing applications. Important to the engine builder are the substantial savings in labor when using S&S cases. These cases come ''set up'' with sprocket shaft Timken main bearing races and cam needle bearings installed and pinion shaft main bearing race pressed in and line-honed. Additional parts that are supplied include Timken sprocket shaft bearings; cylinder studs; nickel plated case bolts; crankcase fittings; oil pressure sensor; timing & magnetic crankcase drain plugs and a special S&S design alternator stator plug clamp screw. The flywheel scrapers are machined to match the original 8-1/2" diameter flywheels. S&S cases maximize crankcase oil scavenging efficiency by using a ''ported'' design breat
